New CD "Remembrance"

After many acclaimed concerts of sub.vision and their first album „Bazaar“ (Traumtonrecords, 2005), Gilda Razani and her partner in crime Hans Wanning started writing some new music.

In 2008 they produced their new album “Remembrance” at Hansahaus Studio with Klaus Genuit.

 

Band member Oliver Siegel acted as a co-producer. “The new tunes developed into something more global galactic, some exotic, romantic electropower” says Gilda Razani.

 

But not only the music is new – the album is featuring an extraordinary guest musician: Bruno Speight, guitarist of the Maceo Parker Band, adds to the project with his distinct sensitiv musicality.

 

”Velvety floating melodies of an almost casual coolness, sparkling solos, powerful grooves of hypnotic force sprinkled with electronic sound splitters create a sound between relaxed meditation and breakneck dramaturgies. Poetically and with a lot of imagination, Gilda Razani and Hans Wanning are crossing musical boundaries and create moving global soundtracks.”
